Established in 1798, Johnnie Fox’s pub is renowned as being one of Ireland’s oldest pubs in one of the highest locations. This venue offers fantastic traditional entertainment and music and is a popular spot with both tourists and locals. Johnnie Fox’s are coeliac aware and can offer advice as to what dishes are gluten free or can be adapted for you. This restaurant in based close to Citywest which is very convenient to the N7. As the name suggests the main focus is on food from the grill. This is a very coeliac friendly venue. Not only are staff aware of coeliacs and the importance of gluten free, their menu clearly states what dishes are suitable for the gluten free diet. Don’t worry if you don’t like steaks, there is a gluten free fish and chicken option as well.

The Arc Cafe Bar is a state of the art venue in plush yet relaxed surroundings close to Liffey Valley Shopping and Retail Centre, Dublin. While it doesn’t have its own coeliac menu, staff are coeliac aware and can guide you on which dishes can be adapted for gluten free eating.

This is an award winning Indian Restaurant with a lot of focus on customer service, so you should be well looked after. They say that 90% of their main courses are gluten free and even go as far as having recommendations for coeliacs. Indian food by nature is often gluten free as chick pea flour is usually favoured.

This is a Thai Restaurant in the buzzing suburb of Drumcondra, close to Dublin centre. They don’t advertise themselves as offering gluten free food, however, there is plenty to choose from on the menu. As with many Thai dishes they are accompanied with rice which is naturally gluten free.
