Healthy Free From Foods are based in Midleton in County Cork. They have a wide selection of both frozen and ambient gluten free foods. They are also one of the first suppliers of Soursop in Ireland. They offer a call in service and also supply retailers. Don’t forget to mention coeliacpages.
Celia Lager
CELIA Lager is an award winning crisp tasting Lager. It is made from the exact same ingredients as a classic Czech pilsners. CELIA contains less than 0.5mg/ 100 ml (<5ppm) of gluten. Groovy Food Co have a funky range of gluten free cereals. I guess these are quite good for kids who like feel left out from the regular cereals that target kids in their marketing.
Curry Tree
Curry Tree offer a range of gluten free curry cooking sauces. I’ve seen these in Fallon and Byrne. If you know where else stocks them, leave your comment below.
Just Bouillon
Just Bouillon stock cubes in vegetable, chicken and beef are all gluten free. I find these an invaluable store cupboard ingredient as I do lots of cooking from scratch and these are a simple way to add flavour. Available nationwide.
American Muffin
American Muffin have a range of gluten free muffins. I have seen these in both Dunnes and Superquinn.
Juvela
Juvela are a well known gluten free brand available in most supermarkets around Ireland. They have a full range of breads, rolls, flours and cereals. The Bread rolls just need refreshed in the microwave and they are actually quite soft and not dry like some longlife gluten free products. They do have pasta available as well but as yet I haven’t seen it in the Irish supply chain, however, if you know different, let us know where you’ve seen it.
Dietary Specials
Dietary Specials are a well known brand of gluten free products. They have recently expanded their frozen range with some gluten free pies, sausage rolls and of course their pizza, a nice treat for all, but especially kids to feel included in the family pizza night! Glutafin
Glutafin have pasta, bread, flour mixes and biscuits within their range. This brand is widely available in Ireland. From their website it looks like they do fresh bread as well, but as yet, I have not heard about an Irish Launch for this. If you have seen or tasted it, leave a comment below please.
