Established in 1798, Johnnie Fox’s pub is renowned as being one of Ireland’s oldest pubs in one of the highest locations. This Dalkey restaurant is a very coeliac friendly venue. They give us a mention on their website, which is always promising. Il Corvo Restaurant are based in Drumcondra, Dublin. They are an Italian restaurant, however, they are coeliac friendly. This is a fantastic family run Italian restaurant in Maynooth, County Kildare. Italian food is not always first choice for us coeliacs but in fact, here, it’s not an issue. This is a family owned and operated restaurant in Bray county Wicklow, it is also a very coeliac friendly place, we even get a special mention on their homepage on how they are more than happy to cater for our requirements, which is very refreshing. As a result of this awareness, their menu is very clearly marked as to what dishes are in fact gluten free. They are also willing to adapt dishes to your personal taste. Jo Burger are situated in Rathmines, Dublin. They do not have a separate coeliac menu or gluten free buns. However, their waiting staff are coeliac aware and when ordering your burger be sure to inform the staff that you are coeliac so that they are aware of any cross contamination issues and can prevent them from happening.
